Why Are We Doing This?
With the pressing issue of rising temperatures in Singapore and an increase in days exceeding 35 degrees Celsius, We are responding proactively with "Pedal for Pints". Not only is local weather becoming more extreme, but global phenomena such as severe flight turbulence are also expected to worsen, with research indicating a possible two to threefold
increase in coming decades.

At the heart of our response is the belief that small steps lead to significant changes.
Through "Pedal for Pints", we aim to promote sustainable travel options that not only reduce
our collective carbon footprint but also foster stronger community connections, moving us
towards a more sustainable and interconnected world.

A bicycle commuter who rides 8KM to work, four days a week, avoids 3220KM of driving a year, the equivalent of 380L of gasoline saved and 750Kg of CO2 emissions avoided.
According to research from the University of Oxford, choosing a bike over a car just once a day can reduce the average person's' transportation-related emissions by 67%. That's because cycling has a carbon footprint of just 33 grams of CO2 per mile travelled.
